NORTH: Mural

While working at NORTH ad agency in NW Portland, OR. I was given the opportunity to spruce up the 8 foot by 11 foot wall behind the front desk. The entire mural was a three day process, beginning with a brainstorm and blueprint for how I was going to fill the space.

This piece tells the story of NORTH as I see it: People from all different places landing in Portland to build, create and grow... upward or north. The group is held together with the clean sharp black outlines that represent the company's work flow and consistent final products. The outlines are the connective tissue, and beyond that I left lots of blank space to symbolize the infinite room for growth and new ideas.

Materials used: Home made wheat paste, paper, spay paint, and various interior house paints from NORTH's basement storage.
